Taylor Despars, from Hollywood, FL, is the newest member and the tenor of On Point! By day, she's a passionate elementary and middle school music teacher, weaving magic with young talents. Her soprano range shines with the Voices of Jacksonville, and she loves singing with the Big Orange Chorus. A Jacksonville University alumn with her BFA in Musical Theatre, Taylor has always loved the stage. Offstage, Taylor dives into video games like 'Animal Crossing' and 'Stardew Valley,' infusing her bubbly spirit into every melody she sings and every pixelated adventure she explores—a true ray of musical sunshine!
Lighting up the stage wherever he goes, Jacksonville native Daniel Pesante is an accomplished vocalist in a multitude of different genres and styles. Whether singing solo or in a group, Daniel enjoys making music wherever he’s able. As a graduate of Jacksonville University in Vocal Performance, Daniel has performed in numerous musicals and has dabbled in excerpts from operas. Currently, he is the Director of the Big Orange Chorus barbershop choir and is preparing the group for competition. He also enjoys performing as a member of the Voices of Jacksonville and as a choir member at Christ Church Episcopal. With over a decade of experience performing in many groups in the Jacksonville and Orlando area, this lifelong performer will continue to make music wherever he can.
Timothy Keatley is an American musician, educator, and composer based in Northeast Florida. He is in his third year as the Director of Choirs at First Coast High School in Jacksonville, FL, where he leads five choral ensembles. Timothy is a sought-after vocalist throughout Northeast Florida. Notable performances include appearing as a tenor soloist with the Jacksonville University Singers at TEDx Jacksonville, a soloist with First Coast Wind Symphony, various oratorio work with numerous organizations as well as independent art song recitals, and many ensembles including his work as the assistant director of the Big Orange Chorus alongside On Point. While not on stage or in the classroom, Timothy enjoys producing music in his home studio, playing video games, and amateur cosplay.
Alexander Burney, a Bass/Baritone soloist hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, embarked on his musical journey with a strong foundation in church and high school choir. As he continued to nurture his talent during college, he found his true calling when he joined the celebrated On Point barbershop quartet in 2015. Beyond his remarkable vocal range, Alex boasts exceptional skills in sight reading and singing, complemented by the rare gift of perfect pitch. With On Point, he has had the privilege of taking their harmonious melodies to captivating audiences in various renowned locations, including performances in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, and beyond. His musical journey continues to inspire and enthrall audiences near and far.
